1	Smart Protection System for Outdoor Children (SPSOC) Khaled Al-Hamedi, Lujain Bamatraf, Noof Jaber, Hala Al-madhi, Rasha Bin-Thalab Abstract - Many children nowadays face dangers while they are outside their homes. This danger is growing in countries where a civil war is taking place, such as Yemen right now. Parents, on the other hand, want their children to be safe on their way to and from school or any other place. As a result, this paper addresses this issue in order to assist parents in paying attention to their children. The goal of this paper is to create a Smart protection system for outdoor children (SPSOC) to protect children from kidnapping, fire, or even getting lost. Parent sends a text message with keywords such as "LOCATION" using a Global System for Mobile (GSM) technique. The Global Positioning system (GPS) chip is used to determine the location, and the smart device will respond with a text containing the child's real-time accurate location, which, when tapped, will provide directions to the child's location on Google Maps. We also used a gas sensor, which detects if there is a fire, a gas leak, or any odor that is harmful to the child. The child can also use the system to send his location if he feels threatened. The device when conducted showed promised results.	Download
